  • FMS parts

I was thinkin',odd butI was. I guess FMS is out of bussines, but The performance parts they sold: cams, lowering springs, Strut bars, etc. Where they manufactured by FMS, or by another company/companys & sold by FMS? If made by other companys can't we by from them?

The FMS guy used to sell pieces one at a time on ebay and i just looked and cannot find any now.

FB71 can point to in the direction of a custom grind cam for a b3/b6 engine.

I'd just poke around the numerous spring and coilover threads for suspension upgrade paths. I don't think there is any suspension combo that works for everyone other than just getting better bushings put in. Depends how hard you can tolerate, and how low your geography allows.

People make their own strut bars with good price low effort.

Thanks for the responses, but didn't answer the question I ask. did FMS manufacture there own parts or have another company make the parts for them?? If so can we find out what manufacturers they were?

They're still in business, actually, just really bad at contact. Almost all their parts were made by roger iirc.

Pray tell, my oh so knowledgeable gnome, how you know what Roger made or did not make?
            Ever meet him?
Talk with him, other than the phone, if that?

for the most part I think Roger (FMS) just sourced the parts overseas and resold them.

I believe this too, except for the body parts.

Wouldn't it be nice to know his (FMS) sources?

I've been trying to reach him since July, and then a bit more often since mid-Aug, about when he posted that he would be away for a week or so. I've tried phoning and also emailed him a list of what I wanted, which came to at least a couple hundred bucks. No reply and only the answering machine by phone. Anyone know any other ways of reaching him?

FF.com should buy his business. It doesn't make a lot of sense but...it does.
