Are they the same length and just the inner stub shaft different?
Could I take the inner shaft on mine and put it on the rest of an auto axle?

Well, my outer boot is gone, found one in the JY that has a brand new axle, so I figured I could cut the band, take off the auto inner, put on my manual inner, then pull the boot back down after new grease and install a new band.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
