you don't want to do this on your own unless you have the proper equiptment (and no, a hammer is NOT proper equiptment). take it to a wheel repair shop that can repair alloys properly. if it's not done right, the alloy will tear and ruin the rim.

Yea, a friend has a tire shop. We use the buddy system. He'll fix my rim, later he'll need something, usually something made, i'll make it.
Its all good.
Though, a hammer AND a wood 2X4 has worked wonders for me in the past. :p

"tire shop"???? i donno about you, but i wouldn't let a "tire shop" touch my Enkeis with warm woolen mittens on a 10' pole. i'm REALY gonna stress the professional take care of this for you.

Not just a corner Gas station or something...sheesh!
This guy is a professional, specializing in custom rims. Straighten and fix rims (when fixable) is part of his business. Not all rims are created equally. Some, especially cast rims usually break. Some are more mallable, due to how they are made. and what type material is used. Luckily, the Enkei 92 is quite mallable, and straightens quite readily. Basically it was just the outer lip of the rim, and didnt get into the "meat" beyond the first bend where the tire seats.
BTW, its already fixed, balanced, and running true.

There is a guy with a CRX who works at the O'reilly auto parts I frequent. Asks me all the time if I wanna sell the Enkei's. He loves 'em. ...and no, he cant have them. LOL
The best part is I paid only $75 dollars for mine. They were bent a little when I bought them (the guy was obviously out partying and ran over a curb and bent 2 of them) Asking price was $100 and I knew that Mark (tire shop!) could straighten them(for free) I told the guy it woud cost $50 each to fix them and i'd give him $75. He said OK and now they are on my Festy!
