  • Been having some ups and downs the past few days

It started off great this past weekend...I figured out a way to pull the engine back out with out using the rented engine hoist....
Bought a chain fall and was able to use the play set as an engine hoist....now I am set for any future projects

Then as I was going through some stuff in the shed and I found another set of rear Festy mud flaps that I forgot I had bought....in really good shape too....woo hoo!

Then Monday rolled around and kicked my butt....was going great at work then all of a sudden I was just just standing there and felt my lower back kind of cramping up....kept getting worse and I was losing strength in my legs. Within just a few seconds I went from perfectly fine (so to speak ..lol) to walking around all bent over and not being able to stand up straight the rest of the day , not to mention the great pain I was in. Made it through that and went to work today with my back still hurting but able to almost stand up again. Then I found out it is supposed to rain from mid week on through the weekend....GREAT!! Not good " working outside doing engine swap " weather. I had no clue what to do so I could keep working on the car and I came up with this....

now provided the rain is not coming down side ways....I should be good to go...
Hope the rest of the week leaves me alone.....sheeeesh!

HA! Awesome! Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes

Sorry to hear about your back though Mine goes out from time to time too. Best advice I can give: find a good chiropractor. But find one who only specializes in hands on manipulation, not one of the weird ones who claims they can cure every ailment known to man by "aligning your 7th chakra".

Sorry to hear about your back. A bad back really can stop everything.
Sweet on the engine hoist! And nice job on dealing with the rain. Hey, at least it's not snow right?!

You need to forget about the swap until your back is better. It not going to help your back or the swap working hurt.

Yeah seriously take care of yourself or your back wont let you drive the car any distances when it's going!

Record sun and heat on the west coast, maybe you will get some of it after your rain.

I'm with Zanzer here, find a good chiropractor. i'm personaly a fan of mine and recomend everyone i know to him. he specializes in sports medicine and physical therapy. you want to find someone who not only does adjustments, BUT also treats the underlying issue: your muscles... anyone can pop your spine, but untill you loosen the small tendons and ligaments arround each disk and joints, the adjustment won't stay in place because the muscles will pull it back out again.
                  Trees aren't kind to me...

yup....got the chiro covered. It happens from time to time...it is actually back to just about normal. As normal as it can be anyway...lol. I have been dealing with lower back pain for a very long time and can pretty much take pretty much anything. But when it goes out like it did....about all I can do is NOTHING, until it decides to let me...lol.

                    Thanks for all the support...
