You could probably adapt the seats well enough. You could also use the 1.6 4 cylinder for a Festiva, and then put a V6 or BP into the MX3.
The front suspension or brakes might be adaptable to a Festiva? Not sure.
If the wheels are 114.3 they should bolt right onto a Festiva. (I believe they are.)

My car is smoking a bit, was thinking of picking up a B3 and rebuilding it then doing the swap, but this thing appears to have already been rebuit and the wiring would be there for the swap.
Are the trans the same? This thing is U! G! L! Y! UGLY!- IT'S UGLY!!!

Those wheels are awfully large for a Festiva.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

Sorry, i've never liked the look of an MX-3, even when bone stock :puke:
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

MX-3 is a chick car in appearance through and through. Pretty much every MX-3 I see is chick driven, or otherwise looking for male interest. And yes, I agree, they look terrible. Aside from that, I think they're a great car. I've thought about picking up an MX-3 GS for use of parts (including suspension and brakes) for a Festiva. My thought would involve lots of cutting and welding though!

LMAO it would take 400 bucks to make it a beat up looking stocker.
I didnt think the mx-3 was popular enough for APC to make barftezza tail lights! Now youd have to go to 5 junkyard to find a set of non cracked regular ones! As elusive as 1969 caddy tail lights haha.
All kidding aside your other post of the black mazda 323 that was a keeper sorry you missed the chance of that one.
thered: Id take an mx-3 over the mitsubishi eclipse of the same styling...both are chick cars sure but more kids rice out eclipses (aside from this example), the mx-3 is more under the radar.
No v6 in the mx-3. F3N.Last edited by getnpsi; 10-14-2011, 12:13 AM.1993 GL 5 speed
It's a MazdaFordnKia thing, and you will understand!
