  • What kind of '91 Mazda is this?



    "I have a 91 mazda with a 1.4L ? engine and a 5sp tranny inside it. I dont know anything else about the car i do know it DOES NOT run."
    1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
    1965 Mustang Coupe - A-code car, restoring for/with my son
    1973 F100 longbed - only 22k original miles, 360/auto, disk, PS/PB dealer in dash A/C
    1996 Sonoma X-cab - son's DD
    2002 Grand Prix - daughter's DD
    2003 Sport Trac - 180k, 130k on replaced motor with new timing chains - F/S soon.
    2005 Accord - wife's DD
    2008 Mountaineer - step daughter's DD
    2015 F150 SCrew - DD

    that's a mazda 323 gt hatch (or should be gt)

    and should be b6 or b6d. kind of guessing there...

      As Walth said, should be a 323 with a B6, SOHC, but not a GT, the GTs (at least in the US) were only available on the old body style I'm pretty sure. Probably 8 valves, though I think there were some (cali models maybe?) that came with a SOHC 16 valve head (probably known to the state of california to cause cancer... :lol: )

        or maybe get lucky...weren't there some turbo dohc gt's? idk a whole lot about em

        but yeah, if they think it's 1.4 it's probably just the sohc 1.6 and f-series trans?

          The turbo wasn't available on that body style, at least in the US

              I'd offer lower since it isn't running. 250-300 firm? I know that's why it's 400 bucks but still. it does have a better trans and if you get it running with little repair you'd have a great setup for later

              I like these a lot. didn't seem to make too many of them tho. I think there's only 1 or 2 driving around here

                    Quick cash on the barrel head is king!

                    (If I found one like that, with low miles, I might pay $400 if I wanted it right away.)
