problem member?

so i ordered some parts off a member of the forum about 2 months ago and i still havent seen the parts, ive messaged him a couple times with him replying once or twice, but now its like he is avoiding me now, i havent heard from him in 14 days and i still have no parts, has anyone else has this kind of problem with members, and is there a way i can resolve the matter?

We have this problem from time to time.
FF.com can not guarantee anything with regard to trading with members.

The only thing I can suggest is to deal with people you've met and/or people with good itrade feedback.

You can post the issue and member here, but if/when it becomes an uncivil argument it will be moved to the Arena.

One of the first things I'd do is check to see if both of you are dealing with the same person.

It could be a simple issue of time or some other unfortunate issue, for example see Kartracer46, but if you feel that your just being avoided, post.

You may have some recourse depending on the method of money transfer.
The USPS calls this mail fraud, I'm not certain what Paypal would call this.

I have met 91mcnasty in person a few times and seemed to be a stand up guy. I'm not defending him, but I do know he has been very pre-occupied most of the late summer. I haven't heard from him recently either. I could try to text him if needed.

What parts are you trying to aquire? If you can get your money back I'm sure someone else on here has what you are after. As in the "dollar" thread if it's keeping a car from running most of us are happy to step up to help if we can.

you can pm a mod. it only takes a few seconds to get in and switch access or whatever they do. and ask that it get moved as well? your call

Unless you really screwed up bad, all you need do is PM a ADMIN for permission to access the Arena.

I think any problem member threads should be de-arena'ed cleaned and posted public anyway. Part of the appeal of this whole forum is there aren't shady people like on honda-tech srtforums nasioc etc.

i didnt do anything for being out of the arena, i just never asked permission to get into the arena, never had a problem with anything, getnpsi it was just some random parts my car was missing when i bought it, didnt hender the running or driving, just to clean up the inside..... i have never had a problem with anyone on the board, and i understand someone can be busy, im a very understanding person and can take a little extra time to get something out, or if you cant get it out just refund the money...
