whats a 1.3L worth?

There's a guy in the paper with a 1.3L out of a 92, it's got the FI intake, but missing the starter/disty/alternator, and a bad front main seal. Less than 150k, he said it was running fine until the seal went.. would it swap with my aspire engine and my parts, alt/disty/starter/exhaust manifold and be worth me buying for 50 bucks as a back up or for resale if I fix the seal or not? it's been sitting for about 3 years but still turns.

i sold one with about 105k on the clock to someone on here in missouri years ago, cant remember who it was though.

i think i got 100$ out of it? probably woulda been 4-5 years ago now, maybe longer.

Just depends. I've seen people not be able to give them away but I see them on CL for 200 bucks all the time. $50 doesn't sound bad though maybe not if you just want to resell it though.

Sure 50 is a good price, and yes it will work with those pieces. The starter...i think the aspire starter is different.

I sold a complete B3 with atx trans , for 75$.

I was asking 100$ and I got only one guy that was interested (local internet ads).

So yeah next time , Ill use it as a boat anchor.

Haha..so according to that guy, they're worth it... Nah I think I'll pass on this one, I'll call again and see if he just wants to get rid of it, 25 dollars would make good yard art, otherwise I'll just keep waiting till I find a whole running festy or aspire for 5-600.

Pssh, thats nothing. This guy had it up for $450 and I thought it was the whole car but it was just the engine. I should sell him mine for $200, he lowered the price $50 since then.

What would a fully rebuilt b3 be worth tho? I got a b3 in my garage that I kept out of the car I just sent to the junkyard and I was thinking of a full rebuild as a winter project.
