  • Need a bit of help from the BMW guys...

I picked up these headlights quite some time ago thinking I might do a dual round headlight setup on the Festiva. These have Hella H4 low beams and Cibies for the highs. Changed my mind and went with the Mazda 121 setup instead.

It was so long ago that I can't remember what kind of BMW I pulled them off. Just wondering if any of our BMW fans could help me out? I think they were off a late 80's or early 90's 3 series.

    Thanks

Once I know what they are off I'm going to put them up for sale. Do I sense a bit of interest on your part?

if you wanna get a premium for em try selling them on e30tech.com or bimmerforums.com where the enthusiasts are.

not sure how prices are nowadays, but they used to be worth a bit some years back.

                e30 84-92. 94 3 series were e36's.

H4's were also used as a stock replacement upgrade for other older BMW's like my 88 528e.

some were, they continued making the e30 3 series touring until 1994 and the convertible until 1993 though, so the e36 and e30 were both in production together for a while.

Hijack- Did anyone manage to put a 4 headlight system on a festiva, either the BMW or MB older 240/300's kind?

there was a festiva years ago on ebay that had e36 headlamps and kidneys grafted to the front. cant say ive seen 4 lamps though. i think a second smaller set of inset lamps would look cool, like the mustangs have in their grills.

i think it was being pushed as a 1 or .5 series as a joke... might have a pic somewhere of it saved i think.

EDIT: found it! according to the dates i saved these it was on 2005, so yeah, its been a few years lol

yea, those are e30 lights. came mostly on the cabs and late e30 318 iS models. they should bring some decent $$$$ if they are in nice shape.

I would like to use a set of those on my Festiva. Not really looking to pick up a set just yet though.
