IIRC, the bodies were thermoset plastic (may have been reinforced with cotton fibers) and these engines were used to start the Russian tanks. I was there 01-03, we lived in Cluj. My dad was doing research on Lucean Blaga (philosopher/poet) for his PHD dissertation, he had a grant for a year and then extended it to two.
I was 12/13 :p but learned the language quite well, though I'm getting pretty rusty now. It was interesting living there for a while, thats for sure!~Nate
