I agree about not parting out the GTX. The body on the car is flawless!
The car just needs to be put back together and cleaned a crap loud!
The GTX actually has some after factory goodies, like a boost controller, and auto meter boost guage. I have actually have always wanted a GTX I almost bought one 2 years ago but the car was was too much money! But my problem is.......you guessed it MONEY! I dont like owning two cars I have to put money in....I mean if I buy this GTX Im going to put money in it, but...I have Sport. The only way I would do it, is if I sold little Sportster. Let me know what you guys think of my sitsuation.

Yup, definitely is.... I bet you more than half of this board would choose to have a GTX over a swapped festiva... Sure the festiva is faster, but it is STILL a festiva. You don't get 'nice festiva' too much. But, I get lots of comments on my gtx.

I am not saying I dislike festiva's, or think they suck etc... I really like the step brother of the 323, and want to eventually have a project festiva. I just like the 323 platform better. Just my opinion.

The festiva with the sr20det and awd would be bad ass though.

I will admit that those in the know would probably rather have the GTX than a stock looking B6T Festiva, but I get "nice car" virtually everyday. You'd be surprised at the looks, honks, thumbs up etc. you get in a dropped, kitted Festiva.

But if I parked my black car next to a clean GTX, mine would probably draw a bigger crowd. And it's just that most people wouldn't know a 323 GTX if they saw one.. And even though they call the Festiva a Fiesta, they know they are "those little little gas miser cars". They don't expect them to be quick, and if they are, and they're done up like my black car, they get allot of attention..

Your car is very nice, and I am just happy that a gtx motor isn't going to the crusher.

I have, and I have one of the baddest assed Festivas on this site. I'd say for day-to-day driving... the GTX wins hands down. It's not nearly as crude and its far more comforable to drive. But when it's time to go fast and drive like a maniac, nothing beats my Festiva
