I finally joined the club and bought a festy. My truck engine died on me and I said instead of investing the money in another engine, i just bought a festy.
It is in pretty rough shape though. mechanically it is good, but the body needs help.
93 festiva....not sure what model looks like a basic model though but I am none the wiser). 236,xxx mls 5 speed
it was in an accident and bent the front up a bit now everything is a little crooked (not sure how I am going to fix that.
the mofo who i bought it off of, spray painted it lime green. okay i can deal with that, but he freaking spray painted every rubber weather strip too.
slight rusting in the corners or the rear wheel wells ( the idiot put so much bondo there,it looks like a hornet nest) (no lie).
It is dark right now, but i will take pics tomorrow.
I will need your help guys....I have big plans for this car and I know you guys know your stuff.
future plans:
fix the body,
gut interior,
paint it inside and out,
re-upholster the seats
crushed velvet headliner, pillars, and door accents, and the rear plastic things.
etc
later down the road maybe an b6t swap, aspire rotors, better tranny...etc
so yeah, i'll take pics tomorrow.
BTW, I am still open to trades for my tahoe in the FS section.
