  • Wait, how did this get here?

You leave them alone and they start multiplying.

My new one is the one in the background. It's a 93, has 150k miles, 5spd, and an aftermarket sun/moonroof. It leaks a little oil under the valve cover, I picked up a new gasket on the way home. It isn't in perfect shape, but overall it's better than my older car.

$700. I'll probably keep it stock and use it as a second driver while I fix up the 91, then sell it once that is done. I should be able to get my money back.

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

I'm calling the new one red 2, the old one is red 1.

I like the moonroof, it's pretty slick. There are also fog lights, but they look like they've seen their fair share of gravel hits. The windshield is also "fogging" I'll get some pictures of it later. It looks like they used some wierd glue to hold it in that is reacting to the plastic layer.

Right now I'm pulling the rear seat and changing the valve cover. It is filthy under there.

The battery came with the car. Expect to spend ~$40 for one.

I just got back from an autox. The car ran really well, much better than I expected. I was pretty surprised that I wanted better tires and suspension more than I wanted more power. Go B3 Go!

I don't know the results yet, but I think I'm in the top half of the class. Not too shabby for my first time out and in a bone stock festiva.

I know!!! AutoX really isn't all about power!! That's why I can beat alot faster straightline cars although I only have 83hp!! Post the results when you get them back!! -Kyle

                          car

i see by the photo that you can remove the valve cover without having to remove the throttle body as some people said you have to do.

Nope, it's off and tilted over to the side.

At some point I have to remove the timing belt cover and replace the gasket. This one was really swelled and wouldn't go back into it's groove, so I just tore it off. My other car had the same thing.

mine was swelled also, so I just trimmed it and reused it, its just a dust cover.
