Leave it an auto and do a BP swap. An auto would be a nice DD if it has some power behind it. Plus, you wouldn't have to worry about the trans not being able to handle the added HP like you would with an E-series manual.Brian

All I have is crappy cell pics in fading light. I'll get some Tuesday as the car is at my office parking lot (not enough room at home!!)
I picked it up this afternoon. I was told it needs a R&P, I found a split driver's side sway bar bushing where it enters the lower control arm. It also has a collapsed HLA or two (I have spares). Tag is good until May, which is when this guy got it from Grandma this year.
The car has a LOT of records with it (there are gaps). I made a spreadsheet of it all, I'll try and post if anyone is interested. Mostly gas fillups and oil changes, but some interesting warrenty and replacement work.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car

The biggest dent is at the emblem on the rear hatch. Looks like the hood got egged at one time. Rust free, yes, it's been in Oklahoma all it's life.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car

Well the dent in the hatch is a deal breaker, i'll be down after Christmas to get it. lol. i'll bet that car buffs out and stands tall, a little chrome here and there, maybe some Red pin stripe.
