  • What I want.

    I don't want too much.
I want 2 festivas set up the way I want them
    I want a festiva with...
    BP/G25mr 5 speed
    AC
    Cruise control
    Power in roof sunroof
    Trailer hitch
    Euro smoothies
    Swoopies
    Under seat tray
    factory mud flaps
    Factory spoiler
    Power windows
    Power door locks
    keyless entry
    Factory alarm
the last three from any suitable donor
    Aspire suspension/brake swap
Tenzo sinko R 15" wheels with good rubber

    I want another festiva with
    B6t /auto 4 speed.
    AC
    Cruise control
    Power in roof sunroof
    Trailer hitch
    Euro ribbed
    Swoopies
    Under seat tray
    factory mud flaps
    factory spoiler
    Power windows
    Power door locks
    keyless entry
    Factory alarm
the last three from any suitable donor
    Aspire suspension swap
factory 14" alloys from a 1984 celica gts powder coated with black and chrome.

I have a 1990 LX cream puff that I might try to turn into the labor needed to get the two festivas I already have and the parts I already have set up the way I want them.

    Ahh dreams.

I don't have the skills to build those dreamstivas. I do hope I have the barter skills to make it happen.

Paul my man, on and off for the passed couple months i have been thinking of a plan to do a swap for you, which ever one you wanted..... bartering will be later on since i'd see it more as helping out a friend then making a deal....... i think timing wise, possibly in the spring time i could make it happen, i'll know more when the time comes though

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Super cool! You think you could pull off a 4 speed auto in the B6T car? Supposedly the 90 up 323 trans doesn't work. But then again a V6 "can't" fit in a festiva either. I need to get the suspension figured out on this auto car too. I can't swap brakes because I really love my celica alloys. I would like it to be stiff and lower with the miata flares like ghost's green festiva. I will need better rotors at that point. I think Brian has some kind of better festiva size brakes on his green car.

Adancedynamix is coming to wire my BP car in February when he picks up his newest festy I got for him.

i'd need to research the 4 speed auto, but anything is possible.... i honestly know very little on auto's, but i can learn

As for brakes, how about the Capri brake swap? thats the same bolt pattern as a festiva

OOOOH, now you're talking. I'll need to see if the celica wheels will clear the capri brakes I guess. I need to see Brad!

Paul, the 88-89 autos are NON-electronicly controled (and as rare as hen teeth), whereas the 90+ autos are all electronicly controled via the ECU, not a seperate TCU (save for the '92 MX-3 1.6, a one hear model or so my research shows). this is why it hasn't been done yet. that and the axle length/spline count issue.
                      Trees aren't kind to me...

                      currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

Lol, thanks Chris! I was just about to say something like that.
What I'm looking for I believe is a tracer/323 auto with an overdrive lockout button on the shifter. Info via htchbk.

yeah, the 323 is the only car with the 4 speed, the tracer didnt get one in that generation (again, as research indicates).
