Not sure about you guys but I take offense. I dragged a complete festiva skeleton out of a junk yard and rebuild the whole thing just because I couldnt find another one and here we have some stupid retarded loser blowing one up for the hell of it. If this was the arena there would be alot more foul words being typed. Why would you join this site just to show us this. Guy you are stupid. You could have fixed that car and save 600 bucks a year just in gas costs.

While I agree that this is a stupid idea, just type in festiva on YouTube. I bet half the videos are people putting bricks on the gas pedal til they blow up. Of course the other half is fstys owning face at the track....
89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power...

Hahaha You are my hero...but you should've at least BP-T swapped it first. People here take this kind of stuff extremely serious, similar to the Topgear vs Morris Marina Car Club. :nono:

One of my friends that always laughs about how serious us Festy guys take our cars once said if he was to ever win the lottery, he would buy 50 Festys off Craigslist, BP swap them all, and then have a giant demolition derby with them lol!!! And then post the vid on here.

I bought a parts car Festy once, and stripped it to the shell (everything useful was saved, there wasn't one body panel that wasn't completely dented beyond saving) Then launched the shell down a huge hill and ramped it into a deep pond at a friends house, was going to post video footage but lost it before hand.

I just told myself it was a Camaro. Reminds me of an episode of Myth Busters I saw. The guys were going to blow up a car, and when the camera panned to the car, it was a really straight Mazda R100 coupe (one of my dream cars). I think the neighbors heard me scream.

Relax people!!! Owners can do what they like to their own vehicles. They could have sold it for parts which would have brought them a bit of cash...but maybe not the thrill.

The owners can and will do what they want, and the members here can and will react how they want. done and done

Did it cross anyones mind to maybe donate it to the salvation army? It could have been fixed and helped a very needy family, give them a mode of transportation that they otherwise would have been without. This is a huge problem with "kids" these days. I can say that, I'm still one, bit i was raised a little better, raised to think of otheres from time to time. I'm just going to stop this here, I could keep going for a while.... Disappointed.....
This^^ is what bothers me. I'm all for doing what you want to your property but if the car was still a decent car, why not sell it, or donate it! My family needs a car bad so I can't imagine blowing one up. Sure if it was rusted beyond repaire (Which some here would still save :p) maybe. Oh well what's done is done.
