so yesterday I found a red xr2 near my house that's ben setting for a little while so I stopped to see if they wanted to sale it the lady there said that it was her sons but he did want to sale it and he just lived up the street.

So he comes down to his moms house, we get to talking and he says he will let it go for 500 but he thought it had a blown head gasket, he said it kept getting hot and he didnt know why he said he changed the t-stat and flushed the rad but it still gets hot but he says it Runs ,,

So I said well I just got one for 300 and it ran and drove but it was the base model so he says well Ill take 250 for it , so I'm going to get it next weekend ...... hard top and its rust free just thought I would share with you all. PICS to COME

That's a freakin' score right there. The hard top alone is worth what you paid for the car! I think Rocketman would agree with me.

Not sure on the year but it has the 14's and its not the round tail light model, so i would say 91- 93 ??? I don't know to much about the Capri's but i am looking forward to restoring it.

The body it on great shape over all the driver side quarter just above the gas cap has a dent not to bad throw, I should be able to knock it out ,the front finder has a dent looks like some dummy punched it but should also be easily beat out, interior is in good shape from what I can see but the window motors don't work the windows are blocked up so I just hope the floors are good. cuz the passenger side was down a hair.
