    Did i get a good deal?

    a friend of mine has this dream of building an lsx miata. he bought a miata that used to be turboed, but they couldnt get it right (looks like they didnt have the oil restrictor in the line). so he sold me all of his turbo miata stuff for $250.

    it came with:

    3 Evo 3 turbos, all with bad seals and some shaft play( im assuming 16g?)
    front mount intercooler, i believe its 27x5.5x4 with 2" in/out
    intercooler piping
    Blow off valve
    miata T3 turbo manifold
    miata turbo downpipe
    and some random clamps, lines and fittings.

    since im not too fluent on forced induction yet, did i get a decent deal?
    can the turbos be rebuilt?

    Yes you did get a good deal and those turbos can be rebuilt. I think www.Extremepsi.com has rebuild kits for 16g turbos.

          WOW. I can't believe the photo of those parts!

          Things there look far cleaner than my dish drainer in the kitchen. I'm very impressed.

            Would you wanna sell one of the turbos.
            1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
            1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
            1991 blue L, 5 speed.
            1988 red L-plus-all stock.

              The turbo in the box attached to the manifold is a t25 from a second gen eclipse 95-99, the one by the intercooler appears to be a 16G, the other, looks like a standard t25 flange. Not a bad deal at all, eBay has rebuild kits all day,
              Im not driving a Festiva because I'm poor. I drive a Festiva because i want to!

                  i dont think ill be selling any of it yet. prolly get the turbos freshened up and figured out what im gonna boost haha.

                          haha if i boost something, ill most likely run it on E85 so fuel is cheap!

                          i did some closer at everthing and the intercooler is 27.5x7x2.5

                          two of the turbos are A/R .48 the T3 has little shaft play. the other is on the manifold and it got a ton of shaft play.

                          the other is an A/R .70 and has a lot of shaft play. will post some better pics soon
