You can do most anything you want as long as the
insulation quality isn't compromised. If you wrap
them together with no space between for a undetermined
and variable distance then cross fire can be induced
because of the magnetic field. Outside of that paint them,
slide them inside colored tubes for each wire, whatever

I believe the OP is refering to the actual NEON gas tubes that are used for ornimental lighting, like this:

i had a datsun truck a few years ago that had a clear dist cap and clearish plug wires. you could see the spark travel to the plugs. dont remember who made them, they were on the truck when i got it. looked pretty cool tho.Rod
