What is the weight of a 90 model Festiva minus the engine and trans? Thanks!

Just a guess: maybe 1300 to 1350 pounds.
My guess is the engine and transaxle together weigh just under 400 pounds. Next swap I do I'll try to weigh them.

Probably about right, Karl. I know that the Festiva I have mostly stripped in my garage, I can lift easily. I needed to get the jackstands out from the front and didn't have space to get the jack under without cleaning up a bit (Bah! too lazy for that). I lifted the front, kicked the stands out, lifted the rear and kicked em under, lol. I bet the shell doesn't weigh 500 #.Comment
