Hey, does anyone have a 323 GT shift linkage (not GTX as it's cable shifted) around? I want to know if it mounts into the car the same way as the festiva, and (cross my fingers) is the same length as the Festiva's.

It's a different length then a Festiva, your better off modifying the stock linkage

I'm actually trying to find a solution to temporarily make a GTX into a FWD with a normal G5MR. I have no stock GT linkage sadly and the GTX has a cable linkage. I also sadly have no cable operated G5s... only linkage operated ones.
Anyone have any solutions other than chopping and welding a festy one? I think the only other cable operated G5 was on a XR2 am I correct? Maybe if other more common 323s from that era share the same linkage I can steal that from the wreckers?Last edited by Afro; 01-31-2012, 02:18 PM.Comment
