Center conole bucket

Well I'm terrible with the search on forums, can never figure it out. Am I missing something I purchased just the console bucket awhile back from a member, I was wondering is there supposed to be something else? My bucket was gone when I got the car, in fact I didn't even know there was such a thing until I found this site.
I'm guessing I'll have to fab something up, but figured I'd ask. In case it wasn't clear in my short ramble, I am wondering how to connect the bucket to the inside of the car.

Sorry, I've seen it called so many things I went with bucket. Which is a far cry from what I called it before, "center console type thingy". lol

IIRC It was held in by 4 screws

Thats okay I knew what you ment. It screws to the metel brace that extends down from under the ash tray. Like Chobo said with 4 screws.

Mike, you have an 89 L, your car never had a cubby. The cars that had it had metal from the dash that went down the the floor that had holes for the 4 screws. I can take a picture this weekend if you would like me to and send it to you via text.

My 89L never came with a bucket, maybe your car never had one to start with

my 88 didnt come with a bucket i had to yank it outta another festy in the jy

Only pre 90 cars that got the console were autos or lx's on 90 up they were standard on all the cubby, autos then got the full console

2X, if you need that metal brace he's talking about just PM me. I took the bucket out of my '90 and the brace is still in there. I need to take it out soon anyway, and what better motivation could I have than to help a fellow festivian! It can be yours for however much it costs to ship.

There are 3 stamped steel pieces between the dash and the tunnel that hold the"cubby" in place, at least that is what i have in my stock 92 that came with a cubby. I have been trying to score some on here for some time now with no luck. I need them to put a "cubby" in an 88 that didn't come with one.
