                  but the arena is for things like that.... i don't see why you would have gotten kicked from the arena for swearing.... that's why it's there...?


                  AND the above is a movie quote, and since there's no swearing in the public areas, that has to suffice (i'm assuming)

                    and yes, i was indeed kicked out of the arena for arguing my infraction...which was expressing the use of symbols and the emoticons that FF.com has available...lol

                        Too bad that means I need to cool it on 465 for a couple months now. I like to think the silver festy with a red quarter and an ff.com decal on the back glass is fairly recognizable. I'll bet the fop supporter sticker didn't hurt her case, though.

                          please read the language rules if you are in doubt....but in short...no symbols and letters are not ok.
                          Also....no one has been kicked out of the arena for swearing...just saying.

                            This makes no sense. Not busting your chops, but I think you got it backwards. You were probably using the symbols and emoticons in everyday posts, and THOUGHT you were in the arena, but were not.
                            The arena IS for swearing and not-family-friendly stuff. Bet if you ASK a mod, they would let you in the arena. Try it.

                              I dont want to throw salt on old wounds, but I was banned for a period of time for calling my own brother a ''fatherless child'' (pretty mild for a swear word if you even consider it one) in a regular forum area. Then I went into the arena and argued it (after I served my suspension...lol). I explained how the emoticons here at FF.com were offensive (some of them) and asked about symbols whilsts using some as examples and BOOM, banned again for a period of time and no longer have access to the arena.

                              But lets not dwell on the past. That was like 2 or 3 years ago...ahahaha(^_^)
