    Man....I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong but his insurance may not have to pay off because the car should not have been on the road.....I hope I am wrong.

      well thats what i thought, till i talked to my friend who towed my car (owns a collision business) he told me as long as it was his fault , hes at fault . dosent matter that i was in the wrong

            So you found what may be the only running and not totally rusted out Festiva left in Maine, and it got totaled? That is a horrible story. I havn't seen a festy in Maine in almost 2 decades. I'm sure there is a way to fix it, sounds like you have a candidate for a wide body!

                  If you have insurance on the other festiva, you should be OK. I know in Texas most insurers give a new car purchase 30-day's grace.

                    Rediculus that really sucks but im sure youll have a great car in no time and just think that kinda thing is pretty much garunteed not to happen again!
