    dang, dang, and dang

    went to a local yard where they had a festy a couple months ago when I was there looking for f250 parts. well I get a festy and went to look for a rim and other parts and wouldn't you know it - its gone. !@#$%^&*

    and now you won't believe whats there now. a friggin 92 or 3 capri xr2 turbo and everything in still there on it and under the hood. they want $500 for motor and the 5sp. tranny. If I stay with a carb I can't use it but why not get it for the FI festy I will have one day? what to do - what to do

    $500 is kinda high compared to the yards around me...but then again, they are not all that common. that is a tough decision.

      I'd snag it but I'm biased to turbo's
      1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
      1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
      1991 blue L, 5 speed.
      1988 red L-plus-all stock.

        $500 is a good deal for the complete engine and tranny package!

            x3 that's an awesome deal for a motor AND transmission....you might even be able to throw the stock ecu in the deal for free, and the axels!

                  $500 is dirt cheap around here.
                  They want over $400 for a sohc 1.6 (no trans), if you can find one. :/

                            Get it! I know b6ts are scarce as hens teeth around here, and its only gonna get worse. And 500 is not bad at all for motor and trans!

                              I'm gonna pass on it - I'd have almost 1000 bucks in it after I pay 140 core charge (don't have a core to turn in w/in 30 days) & buy the axels, egr, harness. can't see that on something I "might" do later. if anyones interested, its at LKQ on white horse rd in greenville sc.

                              I'll wait till I have a car to put it in first.
