  • Can someone please help me LOL!!!

OK I got a festiva project a while back due to a death. Ill start a thread soon with pics of build. I am just wondering one thing. Why do you guys love these cars. I mean they are little cheap shoeboxes but it seem the more I read the more I see people that own them love them and some own more than 1. I got big hopes for mine only due to I got so much given to me so I can have some fun a build it.

    BUT WHY LOL!!!

jfruauff...welcome to the site. Once you start driving the car you will see what we love about them. The great gas milage and the pep in the small engine are really good. The handling is there two and all can me made better with add ons. Not so much on the gas milage but power adders don't hurt the milage to much either. The room inside these little cars is also another plus....they have more room then a LOT of much bigger cars.

Take a moment to add your location to your profile...you may find you have fellow members that are close and can help you figure things out.

        great car

I bought mine new and now have 384,000 miles on it, original engine, clutch, a/c, starter. I guess you could say that with care they last a long time. And all the while getting 40 plus mpg. I'm 6' 1" and get in and out with no problem. Also there is so much potential with these cars, with all the available swap combos, I've got the aspire brake swap and it makes a lot of difference. Then theres the engine swaps, some guys are getting upwards of 200 h.p. Imagine that thrill in such a light car.

You will see once you get into yours, you will get "hooked"

The last and best of the simple cars..nothing newer I would rather own.
I get to test drive far more cars than most people and some are really
cool but not what I want to own. The way things are going it is worse,
                    not better.
Note..I should fess up a little, if I need to travel out of the area I usually
rent a car through my bizz just in case somebody runs over me, or it winds
up in a snow bank, stolen, what ever. The rental co. just puts you in another
                    car and away you go!
Welcome! and Warning..there is no known successful treatment
                    for this medically recognized condition

Cool yeah guys i excited. I have been around the scene. This is my first ford very much against them but mostly I hate mustangs. I have owned and moded a lot of cars. Have a great knowledge of SRT4 neons and honda/acuras. Had a super clean 300 hp srt4 and a turbo civic that would move out. Not exactly sure where I am going motor wise yet for festiva . But car came with fms bodykit w/ headlight kit, suspension, rims, all kinds of custom stuff. Should be fun.

                        Got any pics??

There's so much stuff you can do with these cars that it will blow your mind, mazda parts are like a massive jig-saw puzzle, once you figure out the pieces you can bolt anything together

                        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
                        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
