need engine swap info & clemson meet info

IF I need to use the 94 fi engine in the 89 festy (carbed) can I swap out the 89 intake and carb onto the fi engine? any problems? the 89 may need rings so I will either swap it out or rebuild the engine. any other carby swaps out there that would be better?

when is the meet? time? I need a 12" steelie with centercap if anyone has one to bring.
