I have a CL WTB ad for a festy and a guy calls today and tells me he has a 89L that his elderly mom bought new here in town. its white with a grey interior, 4 speed, A/C. he says its in great shape and was well taken care of by mom. he thinks it will need a master cyl. soon but otherwise it needs nothing. wants $1275 for it.

he's suposed to call monday to set up a time for me to come look at it. its only 5 miles from me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. if anyone here is in good with the festiva Gods please put in a good word.

needs a master cylender as stated, good cleaning and a wax. everything works, even A/C!
new pads and shoes, pulls a little to left and has slight shimy at certain speeds and braking. feels like a tire balance thing. leaks a little oil on the exhaust manifold but very little. (probably won't have to ad any between changes). the original owner was a smoker so there is a burn hole in the drivers seat and rear seat. guess she had one blow back in on her, lol. final price $1225

think I'll keep it stock for delivering and bust a bad move on the one with the bad engine and trans.
