I have been doing some alternative fuels and I saw some Kia Prides online that ran on Compressed Natural Gas. is it possible to convert our American Festiva's to the CNG of the overseas Prides. is there any fuel consumption differences between the gasoline that we use now to the CNG? I've been playing the idea through my head now for awhile but I know nothing of converting fuel types. I am not currently driving either of my Festivas right now and am driving my Mercedes Turbo Diesel while working on the Festiva. Won't be long before the Mercedes will have to go in for a tranny tune up or rebuild (I hate vacuum actuated transmissions, really I just generally have a disdain for automatics in general)

You can convert any gas engine to CNG. You still run the ICE engine to bring up temps then switch over to CNG. There are conversion kits available online.
