i have a 1993 1.3 efi festiva. i want to rebuild the motor whats the best but not too expensive way? i need new front suspension. i heard the aspire is better and does it fit right on? ball joints, struts, sway, and control arm? is the aspire the same 1.3 b3 i4 motor that's in a 93 festiva?

you'll want a full gasket set, new rings, new bearings, and some precission tools.
as far as the suspention: aspire rear beam and everything that's attached to it, both front knuckles and outer tierods. you have the option of fitting the front swaybar from the aspire as well, but not nessisary. then add in 01 KIA Rio front struts with a few coils cut out (start at 2 per side).Trees aren't kind to me...

Aspire lower end is the same as a '93 (even has the same crank, unlike the '92 and down festivas) the difference is the top end, the aspire motor has rollers for the lifters and the festiva is just plain rockers. I like the Aspire motor in my '93GL auto (it was put in by the previous owner but I rebuild it).No festiva for me ATM...
