  • Auto trans at 55mph

    Hey if you got a auto trans let me know what ur rpm usually is at around 55mph mines at like 2600-2650 with 165-60-14 tires im wondering if this sounds right i feel each shift so i know its in third gear i forgot how my auto felt its been like ten yrs since i had a auto festy thanks jd

    that sounds about right (actually a little low compaired to my auto, but close) i can give you concrete numbers tomorrow after work.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

      Sweet thanks bro , yea tobad these little buggers dont have a four speed auto or a overdrive gear imagine the highway mileage wed get then lol,btw the 165-60-14 you told me about ride great not hard at all and my car sits higher yey, also these tires are about a inch taller than the stock tires i had on it :thumbup: better gas mileage i roll 55 mph almost everywhere out here where im at

        Couple of us are working on it Should get close to a stock 5 speed on the highway.
        No festiva for me ATM...

              Awesome can't wait! Mines already pulled just waiting on the time. Might put it in babystiva lol se's already a carby auto so why not a carby 4speed auto lol

                what car did you get the 4 speed out of damkid, and have anyone found a auto trans with overdrive that will fit an aspire engine
