Festiva gets ‘Demonised’
Ford has introduced a limited edition Festiva ‘Demon’ with sporty 14" alloy wheels, wider tyres and a roof wing, all for just $685 over Festiva’s ultra-competitive pricing.
Demon’s alloy wheels are an elegant 9-spoke spider design, 1" bigger in overall diameter than the standard steel wheels and 1" wider in rim width at 5.5". They are shod with wider and lower profile 175/60 x R14 Bridgestone ‘G-Grid’ unidirectional tyres.
Demon’s wheel and tyre combination enhances Festiva’s handling through improved grip, while its body coloured roof wing and ‘Demon’ bodyside graphic lift its already appealing looks, according to Ford Australia’s Brand Manager—Imports, Tim Schreiber.
"Demon’s appearance features will give Festiva’s enduringly attractive styling a sporting edge and thus broaden the car’s appeal in the market," Tim Schreiber said.
"As the country’s established top selling light car*, Festiva is popular with most buyer profiles in the segment, but was under-represented among more sporting types. Demon will address that niche" he said.
Only 3000 Festiva Demons will be allocated and will be available in both 3-door Trio and 5-door models.
Festiva prices include air conditioning and a remote 6-disc stacker CD player and start at a recommended $13,990 driveaway ($11,990 plus on-road costs in Sth Aust.).

I never heard of such a thing.
