Losse Spark plug

Hope this is the correct thread. Sprayed my motor down with Dawn Power Dissolver (great for cleanin' exterior of motor), waited about 40 mins. then hosed it down. When I started 'Tiva to warm it up to help dry it, I noticed #3plug shakin'. Pulled the wire & the plug was very loose. Tightened it down, it was about 3 turns loose. Checked the others , all were tight. Anyone ever have this happen? Could this be a reason for low (ave. around 30MPG) mileage?

I've had one wiggle lose before and actually blow out of the head. Never really noticed a drop in power or fuel economy. I drove 700 miles that day and it was right in the middle of the trip when it happened. I was able to screw the spark plug in and drove the rest of the way without incident.
