  • Just bought the new festiva!!!

Hey guys it's been a little while. But I finally found my new festiva. It is a 1990 5sp. Yellow festiva L plus. Paid just 260 bucks for it. Awesome shape. I'll post some pics. Plans have changed. No longer going bpt. Prob going a Honda b18 with turbo. A lot of work. But since I now have my own 2500 sq ft warehouse and a tig and mig welder. And just about every other tool I should be just fine. 300 wheel Hp should be a good number to shoot for but il be happy with 250. Going to be full int car. Or maybe just rear seat delete. I'll keep updates coming as I get to them.

well lets just say luck.. i saw it a few weeks back sitting in a drive way when i was picking up a diesel truck to fix for a guy... flat tires, 4 yr old bad tags and a lady in the front yard with a cast on her foot.. i talk to her she said she didnt wanna sell it since it was her first car and she bought it brand new in 1990. but she needed the money for her electric bill which was 260 bucks .. so i pulled out 260 and she said ok. towed it to the shop pumped up the tires added gas and bam fired right up.. and no sorry i dont have a clue where any ohters are. i was really lucky to find this one.. i could prob resell it for 1300 easy.. also my old festy is in ohio with my old b6t setup/

However no matter the old lady, a yellow festy w/ a Bob Marley sticker was at one point owned by a stoner
                Owner of:
1991 Red Festiva L, 5 speed (Swagger Wagon)
                In progress:
BP+G25MR swap, Kia rio axles hopefully.
