Difference between ford Aspire and >94 festivas?

I'm guessing that the aspire is the model name which was released in the states. There's no aspire in Australia, there's festiva models up until 1999 or 2000.

Edit - After doing a little research, I think the "aspires" were continued to be named festiva in australia post '94 because the festiva had a lot more success. And supposedly the aspire didn't, being slower and heavier.. Damn I don't even have a real festiva.. lol

Yes, the Kia Avella replaced the Festiva in both the U.S. and Oz, but here it was called the "Aspire" and it kept the "Festiva" name in your country. However, you also got a choice of a larger 1.5L engine and we didn't.

Your pictures also indicate that the aspire is 4 door while the festiva is 2.

Since Aspires came in both 2 and 4 doors, I'm pretty sure the Australian versions did too.

Yeah there is the 4 door 1.5L engines and 2 door 1.3.
