    If your pulling the whole beam, why not just cut the whole lower stem of the strut off until you get it home with some power tools to help expedite the process. Just don't cut the strut body itself lol..

    On mine, the lower bolt backed out all the way, but the strut came with it! So now I have the bolt out of the nut, you can see the threads on the inside, the bracket bent out with the strut.. it may require welding some reinforcements in when I bend the bracket back into shape.

      Well theres another problem haha, I'm on a co-op right now, staying in temp housing, and all of my "Power" tools are at home in Ontario. I've got everything standard tool wise, just no big stuff like air tools or any electric stuff. Ill get by, It may just mean I have to do post of the dirty work in the junkyard.

      I might bring an impact driver. They work pretty sweet. I shouldn't have a problem doing it in the yard, I hope.

      I was worried about stripping the nut because the strut was backing into the wall. I don't think I've messed it yet. But there are two other cars at the yard.
