Quick question. I have a 89 Festy that I will never part with. I'm looking to give it a better ride and I have found a complete 95 Aspire for $220. I want to use the front and rear brakes off the Aspire for my Festy. Are the struts the same. Also, would it be easier to just swap the whole torsion beam or just the brakes. Thanks for any helpComment

You need the whole torsion beam, it will swap right over. If you try to put the brakes on the festiva beam the bolt holes do not match up. You can use the struts off the Aspire too.No festiva for me ATM...Comment

^i paid around that. i just wanted to throw this out there, i loved mine (back only) but i noticed that one blew out within 2K miles? i dont know if its worth noting but i was running all aspire stuff, with 195/50/15's.1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
1991 blue L, 5 speed.
