      Ha!
I don't have the proper amount of knowledge to write a full blown book.

Nor do most of the authors out there!

At least one other of our group here has written a book, and I think he has received an offer on his work.
He is qualified to speak on this, but he doesn't spend much time here anymore and a phone number is all but worthless to get hold of him.

I don't want to mention names, he will reveal himself if he so chooses.

I'm just saying you don't have to know everything on a subject to write a book!

              Oh.

I must not know much about the writing industry. I would think that someone that wrote a book about say birds for example spent all his time in college laerning about the subject.
It would be an interestingsenerio... TEACHER what is your book about and when wrote it? ME it's about the Ford Festiva and I wrote it!
That would actually be really interesting

Lots of books have been written by ignorami.

Before you write a book, begin by writing some articles.

As far as folks writing books who don't know a lot about their subject matter, they simply "do their homework" and research written materials from libraries, interview "experts" and others who do know a lot about the subject, and they maybe go out and get some sort of personal experience with that subject. Then they organize their information and have others proof read and edit their book before finishing it up.

If you are a good writer, you can write accurately about most anything. To become a good writer, you must write.

                Just write.

                Ain't to difficult.

I'm actually compiling info to write a Festiva book. Don't know when I'll get to it, though. And no, I'm not the one Pu241 was referring to.
