  • Instrument Panel removal

I know I have done this before on a festiva I had about 12 years ago, but for the life of me I can't get the stupid thing out. I removed the 4 screws on the bezel. Then I removed the 4 screws on the actual cluster but it still will not come out. It's like there is something else holding it in place. Could someone please tell me what I'm missing? It's an 89.

Speedometer cable is probably holding it in. I had the same question years ago.
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

Deathegg is possibly correct, unscrew the speedo at the transmission connection to give you some slack to work with.
