What parts cleaner do you guys use when cleaning parts on and engine rebuild?

I took my block and components in to Techno Strip in Brampton.
I prefer to let the professionals breathe in the chemical vapors and sterilize themselves. Their tanks are big enough to submerge the entire car body. They do a lot of classic & antique cars.Last edited by bravekozak; 07-01-2012, 04:49 PM. -
Ill tell you what I use. Kerosene,lacquer thinner,gasoline,and diesal fuel.just keep any of these chemicals away from an open flame. Im old schoolOriginally posted by Powerstiva View Post

Gasoline is the cheapest. $4 for a gallon of cleaner, get one of the cleaning nozzles and you got 90psi of flying gas.91 Festiva BP Autocross/Track/Rallycross hopeful
