I turned it the right way now the idle Is having problems. I checked cai and no leaks I adjusted the throttle positioner it seemed to help but on idle it wants to stall out if I don't give it gas. Is that to much air?
so i pretty much duct taped all the connections in my CAI and it seemed to help but just can't figure out the idle. it seems to want to stall. well i upped the idle adjustment and it runs fine just idles high now and when i hit the gas and release quick it has a delay when the idle comes done.huh?

On the linkage there is an adjustable spring-loaded gizmo called the 'dashpot'. Sometimes these things need to be fine-tuned so as to achieve a decent idle. It cushions the return spring when you let off the gas.

i am not being mean i am just saying that. i don't know what i can post so i mean it wont hurt my feelings or anyone else, i cool with it.
i'll just look for my answers on different threads. it's cool.
Try this, instead of an ongoing thread for random questions, first, search for your question to try and find an answer, if that doesn't work, make a thread in the proper section to ask

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
Is the garage section kind of our own spot where we can keep a record of mods and repairs? These seem to get a little discussion about what will work...
On the flip side I do not usually read the general discussion forums, Those of us who
make a living at this usually check custom suspension and repair help, those kind of threads. This was the first I saw this, because of the section its in.
There is an amazing amount of info and knowledge available about boosted engines,
NA engines, stand-alone engine management systems, or mufflers lol . Search then
question! Now, my question about the garage??
