Assuming you're wanting the measure at the top of the windshield...
I used a tape measure and measuring straight across at the top is 40". Then I went six inches down from the center and did another straight across measure and got 44".
This should be good enough for a "sunstrip" type decal for the top, if that's what you wanted.
Figure the lettering needs to be shorter than that, so subtract about three inches per side (at the top) = lettering no longer than 34" or so. The whole decal should be no less than 44" wide to trim to fit well at the bottom.
