  • I Miss big red.....this german thing sucks

Well, I have pretty much been without a car since I crashed my festy in 010 and most recently I have aqcuired a BMW 328i '96. It is a beautiful car to look at, but not really to drive....I miss the days where I oculd come to you al about my car issues and everyone would be ready with a solution or a similar problem...but in the word of BMW it seems like they are made to brea just so you spend more and more money....i mean i should have just bought a new festy *sigh* well just wanted you all to know i miss not havin my little matchbox car ....and if you know anything about BMW point me in the right direction because I am about two feet away from driving this thing of a cliff just to get rid of it :0:cry_smile:

My daughter has a '93 325is bought used 4 years ago from a dealer. It's been a good car! She takes it to college 500 miles away. OBD1s rule!

Just park it under a crane on construction site on a very windy day. Then you will be able to collect.

This. Those things are full of "brilliantly engineered" overcomplicated fail. Buddy offered to sell me his 95 318iS. I laughed, cause I'd helped him work on it many times.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I'm right in the middle of an engine build on my M3, but every time I go to buy parts I think about how much more stuff I could get for my festiva for that kind of money. I usually end up buying stuff for the Festiva and the BMW goes ignored for another month. I can build an nice B6 16v engine just for the price of a set of OEM pistons for my M. F (Festiva) that!
