So I'm the new guy. I have a 93 Festiva L Spec 5speed that is stock other than it had an engine swap at ~220k miles. I used to have an 88 which was my first car at 16. My fascination kinda started there, I bought the 88 in the summer with 300k mi and paid 500 cash. She had no back seats, was painted flat black and a five speed on the floor. I loved her. 
100k miles later, lots of road trips with friends, lots of pizza deliveries and four short years, I got rid of her. She was rusting through the floorboards, the body was getting shotty, and I still loved her. One day the motor died out. While I was trying to convince my dad to run me to the parts store, he gave me the "more reliable vehicle" and "safety concerns" talks about my car. He and Mom bought a new car and gave me dad's truck (95 ford F-250) which I still have. Last year I was bumming around Craigslist and saw the 93 Festiva. Two hour road trip and cash in hand, a deal was struck. The girlfriend drove the truck home and I felt like I was at home as soon as I sat down. I swapped the engine to another B3 i4 about six months ago. Was looking into possibly body kits and or a different engine and that's how I ended up here applying to the forums.
I am 23, from Indiana and you all know my entire car history. So I am here to learn more about Festiva oriented things. Hope to learn a lot and maybe even make some grease monkey friends.
