id hate to see what people would say if i posted the fastiva for sale... i wouldnt take a penny under 8k after the crap load of work ive poured into it... people have no clue what it takes to take an econobox and make it fast while retaining stock character. if you have a shop do an engine swap its a minimum of 8k for a turn key and thats just engine install and wiring. most of us tuners have brake/suspension mods as well as interior/exterior.

Wow...and it's not even Turboed! It does look really nice I'll give him that! But the people in the market for a Festiva and MPG aren't looking to spend that much on a stock Festy.

Not sure what all happened to that car. Doesn't even say if it's stick or auto. If all the upholstery was replaced how come no pictures? Photo #3 is curious though and shine under the rims just might be rear discs.

Yeah, if you are trying to sell a mostly stock restored Festiva for that kind of money you better have a list of every part that was put on there down to the new bolts and more than 3 photos. Some people just don't understand how to market an item for sale.

^ I agree with J.T. and I'll probably take mine to my grave with a smile on my face. They aren't making these any more and I haven't found a better car than a Festiva to build (and I have looked for awhile). If things go the way they have been then, in the future, your going to see people paying the asking price for that red Festiva just for a clean shell. I've seen it with several cars that went virtually extinct.

That is the shine of sunlight on the driveway... the rear drum is barely bigger than the hub of the wheel

Please forgive me for asking, but isn't that what the thread is about? That it showed up on nice price or crack pipe? And our thoughts about which it is?

I know that we aren't supposed to dog price in the FS forum, and I personally have kept my own thoughts to myself, but I inquire more for future reference than now.

not really....if you wanted to comment then it could have been done in the original article but after it was known to be a members....people were still asking like he was not even here or responding. Thats all I was getting at.

Thanks for the clarification, although I think the worst was about the $5500 car, and not the one belonging to Ghost.

Either way, I think I will continue my practice
