It's the car mag for those of us with families etc. and can't afford to spend tens of thousands of dollars modifying a car. Check out their $2012 challenge!! You have to build a car for a maximum of $2012 and then drag race, autocross and show it! Way more impressive to me because of the ingenuity and effort put in the cars instead
of cars built with piles of money. And by the way...they kick A!!

found it! I'm gonna sub for a year and check it out, give me something to do in my spare time..if I ever get any. 1 year for 25$ isn't bad I suppose.

Welcome to the home of Grassroots Motorsports, the hardcore sports car magazine—and your home for car reviews, tips, and road racing news.

This Ford SHOgun is a home-built combination of the Ford Festiva and Ford Taurus SHO, who's performance was far above the $2000 cost.

Is this the article you found?
