  • Bird shot Hog..

I drive a lot of different rigs but nothing seems to "like" early morning
cool air like my Festy! The darn thing takes off like a birdshot Hog in
the morning, then just runs good during the day. Other rigs may
exhibit a barely noticeable improvement but here where its
85 during the day and frost warning at night it an eye opening
yeehaw to merge into traffic bright and early with the Festy!

Any one else think that festies like cold air better than other cars
    and trucks?

I'd say it's just that festies make so little power that the increase due to a colder, denser shot of air getting in makes it seem that much more alive.

Weird, we have low humidity at 4100 ft..
even my atv has a small difference but when
it is cool and crisp this festy slaps a grin on your face!

I have turbo subbies and vw's in my customer base
and lots of diesel turbo and I don't remember a difference
this pronounced. It is about like going to sea level from
up here, that is just as noticable..for NA anyway,
LOL I have not took customers rigs out of town!

I noticed a boost with my 460 ford when pulling the race trailer at night in the Fall. When we went to the track in the afternoon, the truck would seem like you were running into a head wind. But late at night when the temperature had dropped at least 20 degrees, it would haul going home.
          You gonna race that thing?
