  • It was a good day at the salvage yard today

For those who read my "New Member" thread know what my planed project is and what I have to work with. Those who didn't, will just enjoy my finds. I went salvage yard hopping today and found that only ONE yard has a Festiva. And as far as Pull A Part goes, the nearest one with a Festiva is two hours away.

Well, the guy at the yard with the Festiva here took me to go see it. It was literally all the way in the back of the yard next to the fence. It was a five minute walk down the trail, over the cars, thru the vines.... An there she was. I don't know the year but it was a grey Festiva L with the factory hockey stick stripe in red.

I picked up the front and rear bumpers WITH the impact bars. ( both bumpers were faded but not cracked OR broken.
I got the factory taillights, again not cracked or broken.
And also the passenger fender, cause mine is all dinged and dented and theirs was dent free.

And I got it all for $275. I'll pick it all up tomorrow cause they still have to pull all the parts I wanted off the car for me. Guy said it'll be ready by lunch tomorrow.

I'll take pics of everything when I get them.

Its a storage tray that sits in rails that bolt under the passenger seat. Very saleable item.

Also very unlikely to be hiding under the seat of an L. Unless someone swapped it in.
          No festiva for me ATM...
