My brother just sent me these pictures. My uncle is the one that got the family started with Festiva's. He had one brand new in 1988. After that he had an '89 LX.
Current driver:
1993 L : My aunt drives it to work a total of maybe 25 miles a week
UNDER THE PORCH!
This one he bought about 11 years ago, for $1000. It only had 78k on it when he bought it. 5 years later after my cousin had driven it, the transmission went out. He didn't want to fix it, and had the L above lined up, so it headed under his back porch. When the red one needs something, he just pulls it off of the blue one. It's really sad. The blue one had low miles, and only needed a transaxle!
The word on the street is, that in the next year he will be getting rid of both of them! Hopefully he remembers that I'm first in line!
