I think I have done that with the back seat out. When I see them beside a dumpster, I throw them in the back, and leave them dangling out. $10 or so a pop at the scrapper, at least, and I get a few each month. This is how Baby Car got a B6

Pretty amazing but remember, it's one thing to fit all kinds of stuff in one and another to be able to safely drive it full of stuff.
Now I wish I would have taken a picture of mine... lawn mower, weed eater and a 8' step ladder with the hatch shut.

Two mountain bikes, cooler, tool box, 10'x10' canvas tent, two large sleeping bags and some miscellaneous bits and pieces all inside with the hatch closed. The two of us drove about 400 mile round trip.

No back seat and a full load of fire wood, chainsaw, log chain, mauls, axes and wedges.

              Squatting,... just a bit.

Awesome, and I'm digging the Port Hole window. I've always love the old 70s vans that had those or the Pinto Cruiser Wagon!

Oh yeah! That porthole window is a beaut! I think you need to add an extra "leaf" to the rear end though with all that wood.

                      Big Festy loads

Interesting collections of smallish stuff you guys carry in/on your Festies.

                      How about (see photos):
                      1. Full-size desk?
                      2. Full-size recliner? (Note also the black Festy in the background carrying a set of 20' long aircraft floats).

What I fit in my festiva the other day

Standup jet ski fits with the hatch closed. No back seat passenger seat in the car but not bolted in place.

                          Still bumpin'

I once fit a 100cc dirt bike in my old green festiva, hatch closed...... I pulled the front seat to make it happen but it fit

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
